We’re less than one day into my campaign for Congress, and news outlets are already talking about how embarrassing my candidacy is for Donald Trump.

It’s Olivia Troye. I served in Donald Trump’s White House during his first term. I tried my best to protect our country — but I saw MAGA’s corruption and incompetence from the inside.

So I blew the whistle.

I called Trump out directly and became the most senior person in the administration to resign in order to campaign against him – ultimately helping defeat him in 2020.

MAGA never forgave me for humiliating Donald Trump like that. I earned the wrath of Stephen Miller and Kash Patel. Trump pretended he’d never met me. They came after me with lawsuits, personal attacks, and even death threats.

But I didn’t flinch. I beat back their attempts to extract retribution on me. I’ve led the fight against MAGA — calling out their insanity here on Substack, campaigning for Kamala Harris, and standing strong for our democracy.

I’ve humiliated Donald Trump before. This morning, I announced my Democratic Campaign for Congress — and MAGA is already running scared.

Already, the attacks are pouring in. Laura Ingraham, Trump’s Communications Director Steven Cheung — they’re all coming out of the woodwork to attack me.

Because they know when we win this race and flip the House blue — we’ll embarrass Donald Trump all over again.

But this is a campaign that can only be won with a massive grassroots movement. I’m not connected. I’m not rich. I have no famous last name.

But what I do have is you.

Many of you have been with me since 2020, when I first took Trump on. Some of you have just joined me today.

I’m seriously blown away by the massive outpouring of support we’re seeing. I’m grateful for all of you – here in Virginia and all over this country joining this fight as I launch this campaign.
