Mike Pence Honored with Profile in Courage Award
At a divided moment, he pointed us back to what holds us together.
Last night, former Vice President Mike Pence received the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award, an honor that recognizes acts of integrity and bravery in public service. Even from afar, I felt the gravity and meaning of the moment.
Having served as his homeland security advisor, I witnessed firsthand the weight of the decisions he faced along the way. On January 6th, 2021, when the pressure to betray the Constitution was immense, Mike Pence chose duty over politics. It was not an easy choice, but it was the right one. That moment defined him, and last night, history honored it.
As he said in his speech:
“I hope, in some small way, my presence here tonight is a reminder that whatever differences we may have as Americans, the Constitution is the common ground on which we stand.”- former Vice President Mike Pence
His moral compass on democracy has also remained steady on the world stage. He continues to be unwavering in his support for Ukraine as they fight for their freedom against Putin’s ongoing authoritarian aggression.
I encourage people to watch the full remarks. It’s worth hearing. You don’t have to agree with him on every issue to recognize the significance of what he did, and what he continues to stand for. His emotion when he talks about President Kennedy’s legacy and what it means to be receiving this honor, was especially heartwarming.

More soon,

Mike Pence is no profile in courage. He propped up the current white supremacist in the oval. No ma’am we will not be gaslighted.
He did what he had to do on that horrible day which the evil in the White House again did not want him to do. Who caused an insurrection and wanted him hung. As much as I don’t agree with some of the things he did as vice president he did have courage to stand up against trump.
