I trust Olivia. I Do Not trust George. George is still a republican. He is part of the doomed Bulwark/NYT/third way strategy to shift the democratic party right from within.
He has done a lot of good in the last few years, and I hope he continues, from outside. He'd do a real service to democracy if he ran with a R beside his name, even if that meant a loss, he'd have a chance to make the MAGA candidates squirm and look even more ridiculous.
That strategy to shift the Dems rightward is going to gain momentum as the Republican Party continues to implode/explode. The relatively sane conservatives who kept their distance from MAGA and are now, more or less independents (even if they're still registered Republican) are going to be looking for a political home. Some naïve Democratic voters even want Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger to run for office as Democrats. Unless the post-Trump Republican Party reorganizes or a viable new party arises (much easier said than done). Those relatively sane conservatives are mostly white. They might well have been OK with Reagan, Bush I, and Bush II. They are NOT what the country or the Democratic Party needs right now.
Where are you running, what district and state?
Olivia is running in Virginia. Not sure the district.
So glad George is standing behind you! I hope you both win!
Very good.
You go girl! I’m getting very excited and happy for you! I’ll be one of your staunchest supporters! Bravo Olivia‼️💪🔥
Mr Conway looks better since he dropped the trumpers with silly phrases like "alternate facts." Thanks Olivia for working for the people.
