This made me so sad! Not only regarding the pope’s passing, but the ignorant changes being made to the State Department. Africa has been so hard hit by climate change, political unrest, girls being kidnapped and then the loss of USAID. Now this! We are abandoning people in need, but also showing the world what kind of people we are now with these idiots in charge. It is shameful.

And all of this is being done in unabashed brazenness and arrogance. If asked, any one of these Trump appointees will give the mantra "We are carrying out the president's America First policies and are going to Make America Great Again!" along with other stupid talk about "woke", DEI etc. They are all just a bunch of reactionaries, ultra-nationalists, and redneck bigots --- they are MAGAts. They are that "basket of deplorables". They are a clear and present danger. They are "domestic enemies" of the Constitution of the United States.
