But confronting a Holocaust denier in a leadership role would mean confronting the people they need. So they look away. That tells you everything about what AIPAC is actually protecting.
2) The immigrant truck driver story is being framed as an immigration story. But I wonder if it's actually an automation story? Self driving semis aren't coming — they're here. Removing 200,000 immigrant drivers now is a convenient way to thin the herd before the robots arrive. No union to fight back. And the immigrants get blamed for a disruption that was always coming.

You could see this all coming when Reagan was elected. The conservatives were biding their time, giving ground on the social agenda while playing the long game, increasing their control of the economy, and preparing for everything that the article describes. We could see it, we talked about it, but we couldn't make it stop.
Now here we are on the cusp of becoming a police state that is acting a role similar to the Axis of WW2. Cuba will be the tipping point in my mind. I fear that we will take military action against Cuba, and when that happens, I will be certain that we have crossed over the line, and that the Department of War is living up to its name.

But nothing turbo charged their decline like Fox News in ‘96.
As with everything in this Administration they act in haste, repent at leisure. Erasing semi-truck drivers will come back to haunt them. They forget who moves goods across the country. They are not murderers and rapists. They are hard working people paying taxes.
I have 2 questions: Has anyone checked on who is working at Mar-a-Lago? My next more dire question-Olivia, do you feel Trump will cancel mid-terms as a result of our “excursion” otherwise known as WAR in Iran? This is frightening. The country is overwhelmingly not happy. Trump doesn’t like to lose. And it looks like a gigantic loss is coming his way.
Well that’s their only card to play. So they will, without question go all in on it

The non-profit attacks scare me as they provide infrastructure for the grassroots actions pushing back against the regime. Looking forward to No Kings 3 in March 28, and I’m calling my senators to vote NO on the voter suppression SAVE Act being debated right now, as well as NO more funding for the illegal war!
My local NBC affiliate was part of this merger. Law suits have already been filed. As of now, all I know is MY favorite station will be consolidated with the local Fox affiliate. Hey oil barrons particularly the Gulf states of the Middle East will have a long way to go to cleanup and get back into the oil business. This is good for less carbon to be burned and may push populations all over the industrialized world to begin to think more local for fuel food etc and stop dependency on things that are far away.
