Thanks for all of this important information, but especially for the story of Estrella and Lillian. Do we ever need a little message of hope right now!

I had enough to read already, but am glad I signed up for you. Your "five things" is so easy to grab quickly, and so well focused. And yes, thanks for Estrella and Lillian. Omg do we all need more of that these awful days. Thanks for your courage too.

This is a great read. I was totally unaware of the judges being fired and the tragedy of the Fulbright Scholarship Board. I gifted the theater piece to my theater friends and a young woman I know who works in the heart of NYC show business.

Fantastic post, thank you - please keep us informed about the FBI's activities around elections, voter rolls, etc. The mainstream media isn't following it, and it's deeply disturbing for anyone who cares about Democracy.

Beautiful wrap up for the week . Thanks Olivia. I would of spared Mike. Loyalty pledges, give me a break. Imagine Kash Patel giving his employees a polygraph. I suppose if they fail he will water board them also. Is there any undercover resistance going on. you know sign the pledge and sabotage the inner workings. Yes the Orange Hemorrhoid is stacking the courts. That act of kindness sure tweaked my heart. I thought about it and my act of kindness for the entire world would to take the leader to MacDonald's and order twenty big macs for him and stand by for his myocardial infarction.

I’m not going to lie to you—it’s intense! But you’ll be on the edge of your seat the entire time trying to process it.

Eddington was filmed in my town of Truth or Consequences. NM. As much as I'd like to see T or C on the big screen & see friends that were cast as extras, I'm almost afraid to watch it. I'm not ready to go back to 2020 yet.

You and me both.😬 I was wondering which town it actually was filmed in…I’ve been there! I grew up in the Southwest. Totally understand…maybe go with friends and get through it together…or take your time on it. I’m not gonna lie, I asked for a second glass of wine mid movie…and then made my husband go for a cocktail after the movie because I wasn’t going straight to sleep after watching it!

Stood around talking with strangers? Yep. Olivia is from Texas. That's what I love about our state. Texans never meet a stranger. I hope Olivia runs for something here in Texas.💙

Thanks Olivia for this post - I am 🇬🇧 and was very lucky to have a Fulbright travel scholarship to Indiana U in the 60s. It was a wonderful experience. America was great then thanks to people such as Eisenhower, Marshall and Fulbright. Good sensible people doing good.

I had never heard of Eddington before this, and probably wouldn't have given it a second look because westerns aren't my thing. But, reading what you had to say, I put it on my watch list.

I also just watched your conversation with Miles Taylor, and left with a lot to sit with. It truly bothers me that you both have had too many people let you down when times get tough. It seems like a double insult to be betrayed by your country and then your friends as well. I'm sorry. You both deserve better.

I believe my state of Missouri is going along with this "integrity" effort to mess with the voter rolls. I just know that these MAGAts are going to gleefully purge people from voting!
