Call it what you like, but the Trump administration is a global enemy. Do not take them lightly strike down every occurrence or mention of anything involving this madman. Stay strong Denmark, Americans are not your enemy but the current people in the White House are and do too them what you must.

Olivia,

This is my first read of your work. I found you yesterday as you pulled over to attend Lev's Podcast. Your writing is a perfect example of communicating a message so that others Get It! Your opening, body, and close was a lesson in journalism. Tying your closing to your opening created the perfect sandwich for us to satisfy our hunger.

Thank you for your service to America and her Constitution.

God bless you and protect you.

We in Canada take Trump’s “jokes” very, very seriously. They aren’t funny at all.

Most of us Americans don’t see Trump as a joke either. He is a narcissistic traitor and we must defeat him!

Trump's statements are always feelers, which is why I take them seriously. Especially the ones about becoming a dictator (he's pretty close to being one anyway).

He's already achieved that status. It's just that most of America doesn't realize it yet.

Hitler was to Czechoslovakia as Trump is to Greenland and Denmark. This will not end well until Trump’s hands are tied and he and like idiots are removed from office and return te country to some degree of normalcy.

Actually, with all due respect, I think it's more like Trump is to Ukraine as Chamberlain was to Czechoslovakia. Trump, who has no understanding of history, has compared himself to Churchill. He's created a cabinet, none of whom have apparently ever read so much as a book jacket, exemplified most recently by his 3-1/2 hour Soviet sycophancy roundtable wherein the Labor Sec compared him to FDR: The guy who has a history of stiffing his workforce, including professional contractors ---> who is disemboweling the NLRB & federal unions.

Thank you for this clear headed analysis. It’s beyond frightening to think that our own country is becoming a pariah on the world stage. I never thought I would see this in my lifetime.

Canada should simply disappear these American spies. A little Polar Bear Alcatraz would do the trick; the Russians would know it as a gulag; the French knew it as an oubliette.

Nope, this is not a joke! Nothing of this MAGA nightmare is a joke. NATO needs to take serious action here and be proactive with this Orange piece of crap! I think some public spy trials are in order.

This sick action just sickens me. I know the majority of the American citizens don't want this despotic , vile viper in the White House. Pulling off covert actions against a NATO partner is just treachery. A nation once looked up to as a world leader is now looked down on and despised. unfortunately you have a sick, evil, despotic , pathetic little insecure puppy lapping up the divisive agenda of the Heritage Foundation cabal. I recall Donald Jr. and his buddy were prancing around Greenland giving out MAGA hats and trying to impress a few Danish folks. This whole covert ops, reminds me of 1938 Germany: The Anschluss (1938): Germany annexed Austria, a move that violated international treaties but was met with little resistance.

I'm sure the folks in Greenland don't want what the USA has, They like their labor laws, wages, healthcare and various other social programs that benefit the populace.

When do we learn what Putin has on Trump & not be left to simply observe he has him by the proverbial balls? If there really are Republican members of the Senate & House who ostensibly know better & have been (or have had family & staff) physically threatened by MAGA, why don't they come together & go public?

Good point Bruce. I am so mystified as to why this madness just keeps rolling along. Why don't they, meaning politicians, unite to get our democracy back? Does power mean everything to them? Don't they know that no matter how rich they are, diseases don't care? Pollution doesn't just hit the poor? Rotting crops because USAID was cancelled and farm workers are scared to work affect everyone? Farmers need to work, medical workers need to work, nursing homes need to be staffed and this craziness will affect all of us negatively! And you can't buy yourself out of it? Thanks Olivia, for mapping this out for us. Que Diós te bendiga.

The House & Senate Repubs have ceded their POWER of the purse giving Trump a huge handout to do, apparently, WTF he wishes. They provide no oversight & evermore dodge their constituents meaning they, unlike say, the overwhelming majority of undocumented adults are DEADBEATS, stealing from the rest of us on a breathtaking scale eclipsed only by the Trump Crime Family.

Trump talked about having Epstein liking beautiful women like “he” did on the “younger side”. Putin traffics in human beings, especially girls and women. Trump spent a lot of time in Russia. Young “women”? How young? On film? What Putin has would probably make the Epstein files look tame.

It’s buffoonery. We can only imagine the “covert” operation in Greenland. What type of people would become involved in this plan? It’s always exposed leaving the U.S. looking ridiculous on the world stage.

Trump is trying to outlaw windfarms, but what he is also doing is damaging our energy infrastructure. Wind is one of the growing sources of energy we have, it currently provides 10% of our electrical energy. Our energy needs continue to grow. Our economy requires it.

How many of our founding fathers are not rolling over in the graves today?! It seems no other elected officials, past or current, have the wherewithal to try to stop this man who pledged, with his hand on the Bible (I believe), to uphold and protect the constitution, with failure to do so constituting grounds for impeachment! (And who is keeping track of the numerous frogs unknowingly being cooked to death in all those pots on a hot stove?)
