Last night, Virginia voters handed Trump a devastating defeat here in Virginia.

Trump and MAGA started this power grab. But Virginians put a stop to it.

Trump blatantly tried to rig the 2026 elections with his corrupt redistricting scheme.

He demanded Republican states personally hand him new red seats — and states like Texas and Missouri rushed to fulfill his demands.

He thought Democrats would sit by and let him steal the election. He was wrong.

Here in Virginia, we decided to fight back. We launched a campaign to fight back and pass our own new maps to counter his power grab.

I was proud to help support that fight. And all across our state, Virginians stood up and made their voices heard.

And last night, Virginia made it clear: We reject Trump’s power grab.

Now the fight turns to November.

We have a huge opportunity to end MAGA’S unchecked power in Washington. We need to elect leaders who know how to take on Donald Trump — and how to win.

That’s why I’m officially running for Congress in Virginia’s newly drawn 7th district.

This district will be critical to flipping the House. That’s why MAGA is already attacking our campaign.

They know I’ve taken them on before. I know how MAGA works from the inside — and how to win.

We need to raise $50,000 by midnight to power our campaign to victory. This will be a tough fight, but together, we can hand Trump a devastating defeat in November.
