I’m a Canadian. I’m fighting as best an old woman can against the idiotic and unpatriotic govt we have in my province of Alberta. If my province separates, then trump will have a foothold up here. Please stop him. If the separation folks here see him lose and fade away, I won’t lose my home to their idiocy. I doubt they will win any referendum but they have to know why. Our premier has cozied up to trump. Lutnick insults my country at every opportunity. We can’t keep fighting this level of hostility. It’s not healthy.
I love our prime minister but he can’t directly interfere with provincial squabbles.

Our premier, Danielle Smith, says she doesn’t want to separate but nor does she castigate the idiots who do. They’re whiners and always have been. The feds are so nasty blah blah blah. She is quite busy diminishing rights, ruining our health care so it’s one path for the rich and another for the rest of us. There’s a lot of money in this province and naturally a lot of poverty. She’s going after trans and handicapped folk too. When trump got elected she was down there like a whore at a male model’s picnic. And we do have Fox because some people subscribe to it. I’m so worn out writing letters and talking to people that I have stress hives! lol! But yeah… the orange monster is everywhere.
Rant?! Oh not. I took it as education. We the States learn about what our devolution is causing when it spreads to others. And it’s heartening to know others despise it as much.

I know you are aware of the feeling so many people have about the loss of rights, the racism, the wide disparity of wealth, this wasteful, illegal war and the way veterans and enlisted are treated. All this and more are contributing to feels of despair and hopelessness. No wonder there was an attempt at violence. Very bad environment now!
Olivia , the nation needs you and more like you, down home people funded representatives in congress. No more Citizens United, corporate bought puppets who are just interested in self. Question, I am not up to date in your State, but can you share why you waited so long to jump into the what seems to me to be a primary? I am from California and we are facing many democrats running for Governor and only two republicans and we democrats are worried, even though a super blue majority, it is possible that splitting the vote in a primary might result in two republicans in the final election.
I worry about this administration. The adults in the first administration are MIA in this one. Who says no to Ghoul Miller now? Who tells Trump we will not invade Greenland? Who refuses to follow illegal orders?
I had relatives in Brownsville Texas and my only visit to Mexico was in Matamoras. Those were easier times long ago. And unfortunately things have changed drastically since then including our leader. I wish you all the luck in the world, I know if and when you are elected you will a great contributor to congress because you are smart and know more about government than many people do first hand.
