One of the things that has always bothered me about the Trump era/GOP ( not true conservatives) is that they have an utter disrespect for their constituents. .They gaslight people to gain power, which is profoundly disgraceful. Cory Booker showed how wrong that is last night.

All of maga could be associated with a lack of empathy: There is no specific diagnosis called "Empathy Deficit Disorder" in official psychiatric manuals like the DSM-5. However, a lack of empathy can be associated with various mental health conditions, such as narcissistic personality disorder or antisocial personality disorder.
Hopefully Sen. Booker turned on some lights in the minds of those who believe govt is just an enemy to be vanquished. Govt can be used for great things, and Sen. Booker is a great example of those who can lead America in that direction again. Other congressional democrats may find their spine and stand strong after seeing Sen. Booker stand strong against the agents of tyranny and chaos.
