Welcome! I’m Olivia Troye – a former Trump 1.0 (as in first term) administration official, longtime national security professional, and everyday American worried about where our country is headed with MAGA extremists at the helm.
In this space, I break down current events, sound the alarm on overlooked threats, and predict what’s to come based on my front-row seat to history in Trump’s White House.

Why I’m Doing This
I blew the whistle during Trump’s first term when I witnessed an erosion of norms and a growing willingness to bypass crucial guardrails. That experience – including the threats to my family’s safety and loss of livelihood – forever changed how I view the balance of power, and convinced me it was critical to speak out, even at great personal cost.
I believe this country’s greatest strength is the commitment we share to protect it. My goal isn’t to sensationalize, but to expose dangers as I see them and offer clear-eyed analysis you can trust. Every day, I’m reminded how fragile democracy can be – and how each of us can make a difference if we stay informed and engaged.

My Story
