Hate to say it….. but…. the silence most often IS the answer. When there is no answer (or they beat around the bush and don’t give a yes or no), I take that as a ‘I just learned everything I need to know’ moment in both personal matters and other situations.

Thank you for the analysis. I would expect the rest of the world to move forward with measures and protocols on future pandemics since it would be crazy not to. Perhaps there will be some kind of NGO response and participation in the US. As far as Americans demonstrating against the Iran War, let's see what happens October 17.

They both have a history of graft and making personal deals for themselves. The UNGA rant from Trump was disgusting. Offering the sale of arms to China is beyond the pale; then, when questioned, he claims it was Taiwan. Why are they holding up the $14 billion package for Taiwan? Mr. Trump is the most vile, dangerous man on the planet. He actually thinks Xi Jinping and Putin like him. Both these leaders would like to see the USA wither on the vine.
