Message to younger voters: We need you for two good reasons. First, your disdain for the status of our government is palpable and correct, and certainly needs a paradigm shift which you can help change. Second, it is a direct result of so many people, young and old alike, who sat on the sidelines in 2024 and literally allowed this to happen. And, not to be “preachy”, but the complexity our government is such that unfortunately change is incremental. But that paradigm shift will only occur with full participation by the American electorate. Please commit yourselves to help make this happen. Please be part of this change and be patient.
This ass•ministration will push the law regarding denaturalization to the breaking point just as they did with the I.C.E. and Border Patrol tactics on our city streets.
On that note:
I.C.E. and Border Patrol have not scaled back their violent, abusive tactics at all under the new dog... rather, they've only scaled back where they are doing it... under what they hope are less watchful eyes in locations such as Danbury, CT where they they hope to keep their pattern of committing far worse atrocities against human beings than what they accuse their victims of.
Young voters:
My wife and I worked heavily within several large and small profile Democratic organizations while we were still living in Florida.
One such Caucus was the Young Democrats of Lee County.
Yes, they have become disillusioned by the government in that they feel their voice is not heard, and that our government will do what they want when they want, regardless of the young voters' say.
However, the notion that it is far better to abstain from voting than to bother voting is absolutely fallacy.
Abstinence from voting is what the regime wants... and is part of why we are where we are today under this ass•ministration... because not only were there just enough voters who bought his lies hook, line and sinker, but also because a massive number of voters chose not to vote instead of choosing one or the other.
As for SCOTUS:
Yes, I firmly agree that the Lunatic is applying his typical pressure tactics ahead of their ruling on Birthright Citizenship.
He has not only attacked Brown, but has very recently also attacked John Roberts--again.
I hope they get offended and rule against him if nothing else.
That stated, I do not have a lot of faith in SCOTUS... the Oaf in the Oaful Orifice has the deck stacked heavily in his favour.

Thank you for your courage to stand up against tyranny. I have greater respect for you now that you are putting yourself front and center in an election. Liberty is not for the faint of heart. I hope you focus your campaign on one simple message. "There but for the grace of God go I." I understand that not every American is a person of faith, but that one phrase encompasses everything we are experiencing right now. The men and women who fought and died to create this nation knew we all came to this land with different dreams, beliefs, and cultures. The one thing that galvanized us to become a nation was that if I granted liberty and freedom to others, I would be afforded the same privilege. Obviously, this has not been the case throughout our history for some, but the arc of history does bend toward justice. I write this post in hopes that the representatives of the people understand that if we deny respect, dignity, and rights to others, we are condemning ourselves to the same fate. Power should never decide who is deserving of rights because humanity has already claimed that mantle. May God walk with you in your endeavor to once again create a more perfect union.

Took democracy for granted, had it handed to me so I took no interest in politics until 1916 when the nation voted in a dictator wana be, He was defeated in 1920 and the populace 77 million put him right back into the White House.in 2024 I was really upset with the 89 million who sat the election out. I suppose the youth of today feel the same way , they feel left out. I am only assuming one of the problems with the election process is Citizens United. Super PACS and dark money. The fossil fuel industry bought Trump his seat. Its all about the prosperity pimps buying the representatives . Not many politicians hit the pavement anymore they just flood the air waves and one never get to speak with them.
Now how do we get the campaign to vote going for those who feel disenfranchised?
