Just thank you - and leaders keep hope alive - you will continue to do that - and you didn't find a gem colored dress for nothing - I feel a future for you

Thank you, as Mr Noyes said, for being a witness. Only one thing. I’m a Canadian so I’ll be cheering for the Habs. But in all seriousness, the crowd’s singing of my national anthem was about as touching as a moment can get. 🇨🇦❤️

I'm a lifelong Blackhawks fan and the Habs have caused me pain over the year.

BUT ...

They're an original 6 team, have great uniforms and I'm basically a fan of all things Canadian (and Canadiens) now. Watching that miserable Tampa crowd chant USA USA made me want to vomit.

Olivia-Happy Mothers Day to you, too! You articulate so well what I realize are feelings so common to many of us. A shared sense of living through what feel like dystopian times. “This can’t really be happening “ “When will I wake up and realize it’s all a bad dream?” But it isn’t a bad dream, and we need voices like yours to continue to remind us that we are all in this together and we must act if we want to save what has now become our very fragile democracy. Thank you!

When it comes to ICE, and DJT wanting to change our perception of them, by changing the name to NICE or having them help during disasters, it reminds me of the saying “if you put lipstick 💄 on a pig 🐖 it is still a pig 🐖”. The treatment of immigrants by this administration is inhumane and needs to stop. This country was built by immigrants, MAGA doesn’t seem to understand that. Perhaps, if they read the history books and stopped banning them, they might learn how they got here.

Thank you for being a witness

Olivia, thank you. Thank you for courage, your passion, your persistence. And thanks to your mom who raised an amazing woman!

I appreciate the opening sentence, it felt like the guardrails are coming off. What saddens me is the guardrails have apparently been coming off for years. As the creeping sickness of money rules everything, even the supreme court, has been in the making. The dystopian times of now didn't happen over night. That leaves me both sad and confused.

One thing I have in my life is my effort to hold everything 'lightly'. It has all happened before. Unfortunately, we who prefer to go through life with eyes wide open, recognize history repeating itself. Still, Hold it all lightly. Democracy IS fragile. After our guardrails are down, the truth shines through, we are all fragile.. As was seen by Artimis 2 astronauts. Our best bet for daily existence, is 'hold it all lightly'.

Yep, for 45 years to be specific. Reaganomics led us into massive debt, W and Trump repeated it, and now we got $40T in red ink.

Reagan>Newt>Limbaugh>W>Palin>McConnell>Trump

All brought to you by Fox News.

One of the more depressing set of items. The use of white nationalists helping disaster victims is a win/win, as the government does not have to use FEMA funds and lets the wretched participate.

Have a great day!

I sincerely hope that Ms. Spanberger et al can find a way to over rule VA's Supreme Court ruling! I wrote to her suggesting she fight back and uphold the voters decision!

Someone suggested the state just ignore their ruling since these Maggot R's are so good at ignoring laws and our Constitution!

I'm wondering how this affects your run for Congress?

Some days I am not so sure that "every little thing is gonna be alright", but you boosted my hope today! Thank you!!

I still find it surprising that there are so many Americans who are against "antifa", since WWII was fought against fascism! And, of course, antifa is not even an organisation, but a healthy belief system.

Let me add one more authoritarian moves against Virginia: Harmeet Dhillon is investigating a VA prosecutor for giving preferential treatment to illegal immigrants. Terrifying. Thanks for everything you do.

On a personal note, I hope this doesn't end your Congressional run. You'd be such a great voice

A terrible week, as you basically said

How about Louisiana where their MAGA Governor shut down an ongoing election

Another thing that caught my eye: Your former coworker Miles Taylor revealed this week that this administration has a stack of pre drafted Executive Orders ready to go. A sensible person can conclude many of them have to do with the November elections.

Disrupt them, make it harder for blue staters to vote, and the money shot: Cancel them. Like McConnell refusing to let Obama nominate a SC judge. It worked.

There are a couple enduring truths in our world today: 1) Everything Trump Touches Dies (thank you Rick Wilson); and 2) Everything will get worse. Tomorrow, next week/month/year

My confidence in the blue wave is badly shaken. There will be MORE gerrymandering.

We are in BIG trouble as a nation

Good luck to you
