I’m starting to notice it at the grocery store. Thankfully I can absorb it with no repercussions, but I really worry about others. Enjoy this beautiful day in the mid Atlantic. It was 53 this afternoon here in Bethany.
Administration is a cover-up. A cover-up of everything they do while conducting a giant steal of taxpayer dollars. A B.S. Trump prescription plan. A “special” government employee. Tariffs that we’re reminded of every day when ordinary purchases have become exorbitant. And the cherry on this sundae? A marine pilot. A guy serving his country who I am sure never imagined he’d be fired over a missing blanket. After he was rehired and flew them to whatever important city needed them, was he fired again? Asking for a friend. Corey Lewandowski like his ICE Barbie girlfriend needs to exit.
My thought exactly! But he probably doesn’t have the luxury of quitting. And he answers to a higher authority. I hope he now gets an assignment of his choosing. Nothing could make up for this despicable experience.
I looked at “Trump Rx” (🤢 that name). No medication I take, including an incredibly expensive oral anticoagulant required for afib patients. But, it has no generic available in the US. And the Canadian version is banned as not approved. (Which I found out with a letter from the FDA branch in SoCal after they seized the drug with intent to destroy it.) My doctor prescribed something else. But it took a lot of gyrations and a third party prescription vendor to afford it. 🤦🏻♀️
And no drugs most patients take. I hope it works out for people with infertility or metabolic issues. But I’m a nurse and didn’t recognize most of those meds.

What continues to leave me gobsmacked, however, is the fact that the mango Mussolini (and his ilk), who is responsible for initiating the wrecking ball, has a 36% approval! How is that possible? In 2024, about 33% of registered voters did not vote at all; 33% voted for Harris; and 33+% voted for the mango. So, are we still at about one third of our voters supportive of this evil regime? I surely hope the third that did not vote wakes up in 2028 and votes for democracy!

A week or so ago I referenced something I'd recently read: A woman, in her 60s or so, had a boyfriend in her 20s and he was as liberal as they come. But ... at some point he took a very hard right turn: Conspiracies, hate, anti science, anti everything. And then he died from some sort of totally preventable illness (can't remember what), simply because he hated doctors and, again, anti science, anti everything. Called himself pro-life.
She went to his funeral, spoke with his daughter who said "The internet killed my father"
For all the great things about the internet - easier communication, research, shopping from your couch, engaging in intelligent conversations with intelligent people like Olivia and y'all, and more: IT. HAS. MADE. US. WORSE, not just as a nation, but as a world. As people.
The internet literally kills us. How many people who were "doing my own research" died from COVID? A pedo partner is just a click away. Ashley Madison was where one would go to blow up their marriage and family. It makes us dumber, it makes us weird. It makes us hate and believe insane, truly harmful things.
Why? Because we all have a lazy gene. Hate, spreading lies and racism is SO EASY.
Just plop down with a Miller Lite and let 'er rip. Nuance isn't required, neither is any sort of research. Thinking isn't required, just find something that scratches your hate itch and power it out there
Truth is harder, sometimes very inconvenient, and sometimes it gives us tough medicine. Hate and lies are so much easier.
Now? There's no getting the toothpaste back in the tube. I'm 72 and who knows how many years I have left. But the world I'll exit will be infinitely worse than the one I entered in 1954

People in Minneapolis beg to differ with Elmer Fudd, I mean Tom Homan. There's no changes they have seen. It's more smoke and mirrors.

Exactly Mary. Trump Rx has no generic drugs at this time.
