As always, Olivia, the most insightful commentary of the week. It’s like we live in bizarro world. The groups preparing for MAGA after Trump should be bone chilling to all of us in the US. As an Arizona resident, it’s unsurprising to me an AZ businessman would fund these projects. Although we have a Democratic governor and 2 Democratic senators, this is still a red leaning state and they are full-on MAGA. We can only hope the midterms right this sinking ship.

Spending time on a Saturday morning with a writer who is a dog lover, recognizes how important an ASL interpreter is for equal access, and values faith - I’m in the right place! Very thankful for all you do.
When, we lput trump and his minion in the ash heap of history; would you be willing to take an responsible, and significant federal position under a verifiably Democratic administration, although you are conservative in ideology? As a lot of us have found though our ideology has been cast in stone; the stone isn't granite. I love you and what you are doing, and there is an important journey for you.
I once read an article about a porta-potty at the outer reaches of a wilderness "trail" in a National Park. The trail, by the way, was one of those that was a long (10 miles? 20 miles?) trek over some really rugged terrain.
At any rate, the hike had become popular enough that the Forest Service had concluded it was necessary / worthwhile to place a porta-potty at the far end concluding that an occasional helicopter swap was better than the effects of over use.
So the park rules dictated that the first unit at the destination had to be ADA accessible... Now I wouldn't claim that folks with impaired mobility would never get there; some of them are more active, scrappy, and mobile than I am. I'm sure a few have made the trek and used the facility. But having made it that far I'd bet they didn't need the full-on ADA compliant portable. I hope they found some humor in it.
The point being that when the audience is small an ASL interpreter is easy to see as "fluff" but as the audience increases it becomes offensive to omit them. Same as ADA sidewalk ramps; When the trail beside the road is first paved access is improved for all. But there comes a point when those yellow-dot traction ramps are a much worthy addition to the public right-of-way.
And finally, there are some people who will try to hold on to the status quo for far longer than it is beneficial and there are also people who are first to advocate for improvements, even those that just include the formerly marginalized.
This was powerful profound brilliant and compelling. Great picture of you in the East wing. I thank you for your service. You’ve done so much. And continue to do so much.
Nick Fuentes is vile disgusting scum rotten that has no place in media. The fact that Tucker gave him a platform says everything about who he is. There’s no reason to feature him on his show. None. He’s got nothing to say. The Tucker podcast allows Tucker to be who he is and he’s showing everyone. Like The late great Maya Angelou says when people say who they are believe them. Tucker knew exactly what he was doing giving that bum Fuentes a platform and it was disgusting.
See at some point these platforms shouldn’t allow this crap to be broadcast. All they are is recruiting outlets for far right racists and nazis.

I spent 17 years in El Paso/Juarez in front of a microphone "on the air" at radio stations on both sides of the border. In all the time I spent there, I never learned more than watching your video posts in the last few weeks. I've dined at restaurants that were located, literally, within a few feet of the border with Mt Franklin in the background and bright blue skies overhead. Seeing and hearing the message you've provided is quite powerful and especially riveting given my personal experience there. Thank you for your time and talent. Please continue to reach out to people like me, who accept your message unconditionally because of the healing it provides to the soul and the spirit.
