Thank you, as always, for bringing the news. Some things are hard to hear, and there are things we need to hear. I was touched by the teacher, as I was a former teacher, and this is so true of parents and teachers. We would do what we need to do for our children, and we need to remember that as all this chaos is going on around us.
My wife was a kindergarten teacher for 20+ years and balanced that job with being a wonderful mother and wife ,so I know something about what teachers have to go through to help make a living for themselves and/or their families . Kudos to you and all teachers in the world today. May they all beloving, proficient and effective in what they do going forward in this crazy world that we live in now. We will always need really good teachers.
Thank you, and kudos to your wife. It is not always easy being a teacher, yet it is rewarding. I worked in the special education field, juvenile detention, and even a prison teaching GED, and it all came down to respect and humanity. It will come back, though it is hard to see at this time.
You are in a tough and much needed field of teaching ,Pamela. I applaud you for your efforts and wish to you the best of everything in your life and work.
This was on my FB feed this morning and seems credible. No one seems to be pointing at this.
Forget Epstein. Look at Trump Model Management: The Real Pipeline of Power, Flesh, and Silence
Forget what you’ve heard about Ghislaine Maxwell being the mastermind—she wasn’t the start of this story. If you want to understand how elite trafficking really worked—how girls were recruited, processed, and handed off to billionaires—you don’t start with Epstein. You start with the modeling agencies.
John Casablancas, Jean-Luc Brunel, Donald Trump, and Paolo Zampolli didn’t just work in fashion. They operated a system. A system that targeted vulnerable girls—especially from Eastern Europe, South America, and small-town America—and fed them into a machine dressed in glamour but running on coercion.
Casablancas created the cultural template with Elite Model Management, turning underage girls into marketable assets and normalizing relationships between adult men and teenage models. Brunel expanded it internationally with MC2, an agency Epstein himself bankrolled with at least $1 million, giving him open access to a pipeline of girls. Zampolli specialized in the immigration angle, gaming the U.S. visa system to bring in foreign models on O-1 "extraordinary talent" visas, or more often, B-1/B-2 tourist visas, and placing them in overcrowded, overpriced apartments while booking them for under-the-table modeling jobs.
Trump joined this system fully in 1999 with the creation of Trump Model Management, shortly after his relationship with Melania—herself a Zampolli recruit from Slovenia—became public. The agency followed the same model: bringing in young women illegally, charging them for housing and services, and working them while they accumulated debt. Former models testified they were told to lie to customs officers, to say they were tourists, and then immediately sent out to work. This wasn’t alleged. This was documented. The visas were real. The labor was real. The fraud was real.
Compared to the agencies, Maxwell and Epstein were the curated side of the operation. They didn’t run dorm-style housing. They didn’t feed girls into low-budget catalog shoots. They offered the illusion of escape. Girls who had already been broken in by the agency system—groomed to obey, to smile, to say yes—were selected by Maxwell for "something better": jets, shopping, rich men, and beachfront estates. The sex was transactional, yes. But it felt luxurious. Many of the girls said yes willingly. Not because they were naive, but because they had already learned how the game worked.
Maxwell didn’t coerce; she inspired. She flattered. She offered protection and status. Epstein didn’t chase; he curated. He kept logs, wired his homes, tracked movements. He didn’t need to rape. The system had already trained the girls to comply. His value wasn’t as a user—it was as a middleman. He connected the supply (from the agencies) to the demand (from the elite).
Epstein's network wasn’t about individual lust. It was about leverage. He offered powerful men something better than market returns: exotic islands, off-book girls, and plausible deniability. He recorded everything. Not always to blackmail—but to own them. To keep the powerful quiet. And it worked.
These weren't dark secrets. They were sunlit transactions, wrapped in language like:
“Your back hurting, Joe? I got a girl, comes every day. Real sweet. Max set it up. No pressure. You want to come by for dinner next week?”
This is how trafficking happened. Not with chains, but with calendars. Not in shadows, but at dinner parties.
And what’s worse—compared to the brutality of the modeling agencies, Epstein and Maxwell could almost be seen as saviors. At least their girls got paid. Got flown somewhere. Got treated like something more than inventory. That’s how sick the foundation really was. That’s what kept the pipeline full.
This wasn’t just Epstein. It wasn’t even just a ring. It was a whole tier of elite society operating on shared appetites, protected by shared silence.
You don’t see this story in major media because they’re in on it. The PR firms, the publishers, the party hosts—they’re the white-gloved cleanup crew. The modeling industry protected the designers. The lawyers protected the agencies. The press protected the donors. The politicians protected each other. And the girls? They vanished into the system.
Trump saying "release it all" is performance. He was in it. Clinton was in it. Maybe more. The point isn't whose side you're on. The point is that the rot is bipartisan and built into the architecture of power itself.
This wasn't a scandal.
This was policy.
And the reason it’s never been fully exposed is simple:
Because when the rot climbs all the way to the top, there's no one left to report it.
Exactly - Rich and powerful men in New York and South Florida were aware of the seedy modeling system and the even more degenerate one when Epstein got in on it. The details weren’t known, but general knowledge of an operation of Epstein and having “girls” available was. Think about it, Lutnick lived next to the guy. Lutnick wouldn’t have blind to young girls going in and out of Epstein’s place.
I knew someone (now dead) who Refused to discuss Trump when he was brought up. Changed the subject immediately. Now I know why.
Trump was someone who spent time with a KNOWN pedophile!
Men who hang around with pedophiles are willing to accept that kind of lowlife.
That is the moral character of Caligula.
Anything Trump says anymore comes through the filter of his being a pedophile buddy. Someone who willing hung around the lowest of the low. A President telling other people how to act when he has no morals himself!!
And a Supreme Court that Backs up this pedophile buddy!! What’s with your moral compass Justices?
If Maxwell gets a pardon for “exonerating” the Twatwaffle, I want her to take a lie detector examination because you know she’s going to lie to get out of jail. And RIP to that extraordinary teacher.
May Mahreen rest in peace and power for the unselfish act of saving children. Also, thank you for telling us about Sheryl Crow's new song. I've been playing protest music lately from different eras in history and happy to come across a new song that applies to specifically today.
OHIO is a good one! Neil Young wrote it in 15 minutes. One take in the studio and it was ready for the American public. Who were considered radical. Nixon ordered the National Guard in to Kent State College. Their rounds were rubber but they still killed. That was 1970. It wasn’t just Watergate that took Nixon down,or the recordings in the Oval, it was also the four dead college students who died.
I've been playing OHIO a lot. I was 9 when Kent State happened. Another song I've been playing a lot lately is What's Going On? by Marvin Gaye. The line "Don't punish me...with brutality." makes me want to cry when I think about what this Trump regime is doing to immigrants.😪
Tracy....this is just a gentle correction to your info on Kent State. The bullets were live rounds and it was Governor Jim Rhodes that ordered in the National Guard. But of course, it was Nixon's decisions that preceded all of that. And while googling, I learned that construction workers in Manhattan attacked war protesters with their fists and metal pipes, and Nixon donned a hardhat at some point afterwards and praised them.
I appreciate your correction. Jim Rhodes should have asked for the action. I just googled what the weapons they did use it was indeed live rounds and tear gas.
I was so upset because my sister was going to college where they shoot students. My brother who could have told me anything I would have believed it.
Lord I have believed that for over 50 years. I remember my brother sitting beside me on our couch consoling me.
Oh the horror make it go away! Don't truly even "like" the "new" normal at all. We have a buffoon in the White House and a ton of them to support all his unlawful and nefarious goings on! We must stand strong and NOT allow this all to continue. So tired of chaos and stupidity! Thank you for this post, at least you are keeping track for us there is so much crap going on!
If I were a sports body assigning places for international competitions, I would refuse to have them in the US. Of course, then this vindictive pedopotus would refuse US athletes to participate. But I'd say, too bad, and hold competitions outside the US anyway. Let the baby toddler scream discrimination. Projection, as always. The democracy nations are already sidelining us with trade and mutual military agreements without us in them. We are a pariah with this felonpotus regime. Your sad, humane note: Mahreen Chowdhury is an earth angel, sacrificing herself in saving the lives of children. If only all humanity had her courage and compassion.
Yes! I'm here, retired, in my home in N.C. Missouri and a MAGA haven. Sheryl Crow is from the Bootheel of Missouri which is even more redneck. We both know these people of Trump's minions. Hell, we grew up with many of them but progressed in our lives; many of our old acquaintances didn't. From California, she writes and sings songs of this bad dream. I confront it daily living here. We are of like spirits though --- we're both MIZZOU.
Olivia you are a gem. Thank you for your voice shouting out “ Help!” as we slip into authoritarianism. We need more former Republicans to stand up to the Dictator and his spineless enablers.
Thank you for always being honest about this. The truth you have in your , and hope you have will hopefully bring us freedom for all Americans. Speak truth to the power of your own voice.
Crazier, scarier, meaner and more heartless every day. That is this administration: crazier, scarier, meaner and more heartless every day. And it was the Heritage Foundation's plan all along. We should never forget that, and never totally blame trump. He is just the fixture they manipulate to get Project 2025 done. He thinks he is in charge. He is not. Never forget that.
I’m sure everyone appreciates your paper clip with citations of news source after each report you write, and I’m sure everyone has told you so. But I just want to tell you again: WONDERFUL
Wouldn’t
it be The Best to have a law written across the country that all reports have such identification, so we can all benefit from knowing verification of facts?
Thank you, Olivia. I haven't always been a fan of Cheryl Crow, so I probably wouldn't have discovered "The New Normal" without your article! It is definitely a new favorite of mine.

I am reposting this to Facebook. Excellent. This is perfectly written and documented. Thanks.
Thank you. Feedback means a lot to me. I appreciate you reading it.
